Sun., May 15 1:30-4:00 PM
Just in time for summer! Thinking of Miller Place has a new look, and updates about “the Finns,” plus a Reading Guide for book groups.
On May 15th there will be a little bit of Miller Place right here in Tucson, Arizona–lemonade, toasted almond ice cream bars, fresh strawberries and cream, marshmallows, music you’ll remember (if you’re of a certain age). Fun for everyone- just like Miller Place!
Reading/book signing. Be part of this magical place for a few hours, then take the book home with you and “rest in a hammock between a childhood that was and the reality of today”… where “you can take off your shoes and run barefoot up the hill.”
You don’t have to be a New Yorker, a twin, or even love the beach to savor Thinking of Miller Place: A Memoir of Summer Comfort.
Please say you’ll be there. RSVP required.
At the home of Ethel Lee-Miller in the Sabino Springs community.
RSVP by May 11 firstname.lastname@example.org Directions given upon RSVP. Limited ‘seating’ RSVP ASAP.
I know for some this may be a bit geographically undesirable for an in-person attendance. But I wanted to share my exciting news with everyone! Books are also available for purchase ($14.00 + shipping with an included gift for you from me). Contact me if you want a signed author copy. If you wish an inscription, let me know. This is a perfect summer beach read!
