The Eastside Writing Room has been “planting virtual writing seeds” since April and now in December, we’re ushering 2020 out and welcoming 2021 with anticipation and optimism.

Join us each Tuesday in this final month of 2020 for a half hour or sharing writing intentions. The pandemic has shifted our locations but has not impacted our commitment. Write from your desk, office, outside, in the park. Just not around our community table.

If you are interested in joining us, contact Ethel.  We check in on Zoom at 11:00 AM (Mountain Time) to state writing intentions. We keep our intentions concise and brief and then off we go to write. This is not a content share/critique group. I send out a Zoom invite to our full member list each Sunday. We write every Tuesday. We’re staying connected while apart.

Words are powerful- the words we write, think, and speak can hold influence, whether it’s with a group, on your social media pages, with your neighbor as you talk from a social distance, or in your home with your family.

You may not control the events that happen to you, but you can decide not to be reduced by them. –  Maya Angelou
