Eastside Writing Room-June

laptop with writing and coffee mugWhat is our writing group?

A weekly event for adult writers (published, not published, just starting, resuming) of all genres. Join us as we write. This group is not for instruction, sharing, or critiquing. It’s solely for writing.

Why be part of a writing group?

People have mentioned that they could simply do that at home or at the coffee shop. Yes, true, and yet when I ask, “But do you actually do that?” there’s often a pause and shrug…

No time to write? No place in your house for quiet? Too many digital temptations or house/family chores? Commit and claim your two hours each Tuesday just for you and your writing. Sometimes we’re in the groove and the writing goes on for more than two hours.

Set your writing intention each week in a quiet, serene atmosphere.

No interruptions. No cell phones. No fee.

Join us each week or as your time allows.

When and where

TUESDAYS  11:30 AM-1:30 PM. Two hours of quiet writing time. Wireless networking available. Hostess provides beverages. Feel free to bring a snack.

Depending on the location (the writing time crosses lunch time)I would be interested in these sessions.
