Happy News!

I’m thrilled to be sharing a story on AZ Public  Media –   on “AZ Spotlight” a weekly NPR-affiliated radio program and podcast produced by AZPM in Southern Arizona, highlighting the region’s diverse arts, culture, and local stories.

Listen to the podcast: Recent Podcast. Spotlight From Feb 19

This is a 4-segment half-hour show, and I am the “closer.” The whole show is great; the 4 segments  fit together nicely. First, Rapid Response- what it is and help for Tucson community  immigrants. Second- Podcast learning for teens. Third- Paul McCartney’s “Man on the Run” premieriing in Tucson. Fourth – Ethel Lee-Miller telling a true story about a Dad and his 3-year-old daughter. “Ivan and the French Fries.”

Feb 15:  Had a great time interviewing with Tony Paniagua and then taping two short (6 minutes each ) stories- one of which will be aired on Feb 19.  Come join us  NPR 89.1
