I’ve heard it said that some folks put more thought into what they want in a new car than what they want in a relationship. When asked what they want, the answer is often superficial— appearance, car, taste in music. Good stuff, but not durable.
Interesting relationship stories have character traits, values, and behaviors at the core. I think the same is true of an interesting relationship—1000s of tiny little things and an awareness of character traits and values exhibited in daily life.
